Queequeg Has Gone to Rat Cabin to Get Her Wings

 

A sad Maris here. We all had a big shock today. We were playing and eating peas and doing all the usual stuff when, all of a sudden, Quee gasped and wriggled. Mom and dad rushed about and put her on a soft cushion to give her extra scritches, but she went to Rat Cabin. All of the sisters came to give her a groom and say goodbye, and Roo-Roo has been hiding in Ratty Towers ever since and won't come out. I am getting curious about Rat Cabin now... what's so good about it that my sisters keep on leaving to go and live there?

Mrs Pea has been very poorly. She has an abscess on her pretty face and has to have lots of noxious poison to get rid of it. Mom is always saying that Pea is such a brave girl, but now she's worried that Pea will get depressed because she loved Quee so much. Quee was always cuddling Pea. I've been trying to cuddle Pea, so she doesn't get so lonely, but she gives me the look.

Queequeg Is Good at Keeping Secrets

 

Maris here again! If we have got a secret we always tell it to Quee because she is really good at keeping them to herself. She is a really special girl, and she is so cuddly if you want someone to nap against.

Mom is working a lot so I have put in a complaint to the union because I have been getting less scritches. I played it up a bit, gave her one of my looks and batted my eyelashes. That got me a cuddle, a roll over and a tummy tickle, and a bit of doughnut! Tomorrow I am going to wiggle my ears and see if it gets me a muffin.

Mom Has Got a New Camera

 

Piper here! It was mom's birthday yesterday and dad bought her a new camera. She has been driving us bananas with it, clicking and flashing all over the place. I told dad off because it was his fault for buying it. Quee said she likes it and was posing all over the place like a real poser. I told her to stop showing off and she said that if I didn't like it I could bugger off. I showed her... I got in all of the photos after that.
