Book Signing in Weston-super-Mare

You haven't heard from me for a while... I've been busy promoting all things Guppy to the globe. I was in the local newspaper during the week, which was excellent, and today I was at Waterstone's in Weston-super-Mare, signing copies of the book. I was particularly looking forward to this signing because it's my local store and I do love Weston. It's been a nice day for it too... the sun is shining and the birds are singing. I would have stayed there all day, but at about three o'clock the store ran out of books... the Guppys took Weston by storm and every last copy had sold... so home I came. Now I have to plan for a radio interview I'll be recording on Monday that will air around April 4th.

Sing-Along-a-Pat

Pat Guppy recently took centre stage in a production of the musical 'The Sound of Music' at the Sea View Musicarium. The performance was organised by The 'Orrible Old Crooners, a musical society for the over seventies that meets in Albert Murphy's front room every first Tuesday in the month. Pat Guppy amazed music critics by performing the parts of Maria, Sister Margaretta, and a group of non-singing-part nuns all at the same time. The score was somewhat altered, and several key songs suffered questionable rewrites by the star of the show... including 'My Favourite Things.
